Conditions Reference

Conditions are the criteria that determine whether a rule’s action fires. Each rule can have one or more conditions combined with AND or OR logic.

Conditions marked Pro require the Pro plan.

Cart conditions (cart_value, cart_item_count, product_in_cart) trigger a live /cart.js fetch and re-evaluate automatically when the cart changes, including after Ajax add-to-cart requests. Location, customer, and page conditions are evaluated once per page load and don’t re-check without a reload — for example, a customer logging in mid-session won’t retrigger a Customer logged in condition until the next navigation.
Country, continent, language, currency, and market are provided by Shopify’s storefront localisation — no IP lookup is performed for these. Geo country and Geo continent are the IP-based equivalents, and are evaluated separately.
